Proud to have the Swinery Burger featured in the July issue of Seattle Met!
“At the no-frills West Seattle lunchtime courtyard Inner Sanctum of the Temple of Porcine Love —trust us, the name will make sense once you’re eating—grass-fed, grass-finished, antibiotic-free beef makes impossibly flavorful burgers, especially when embellished with smoked sea salt or fresh bacon from the adjoining butcher shop, the Swinery.”
We’re excited to be helping out Mission with their Cinco de Mayo Pig Roast tomorrow! Click here for more details
New at the Swinery: Fermin iberico de bellota pork is here! Clearly, we at the Swinery love good food. The only thing we love more than good food, is sharing good food. In the spirit of sharing we thought we would start a community library of cookbooks that Swinery friends can browse in the store or borrow for an evening to use in their own kitchen. Of course in order to do this, we need some cookbooks and if you’re like us, you’ve got plenty lying around so starting today if you bring a used (or new) cookbook to donate to the library you’ll get 10% off your purchase in the shop*!
Recap: Bring in a cookbook, get 10% off in the shop. So go browse through all those cookbooks you’ve been collecting and see if there are any you’d like to share, we promise you can come back and visit them anytime.
* 10% discount in the shop only, does not apply to the courtyard cafe
We decided to take our commitment to sustainability one step further this month and introduce a new special offer. Starting today, if you take public transit to the Swinery you’ll get 10% off your purchase! Every. Time.

The Swinery butcher shop-cum-restaurant breaks down whole animals raised within 300 miles. A blackboard menu changes often, but highlights have included chicken-fried cheesesteak sliders with battered sirloin in a bacon-and-blue cheese sauce, and Mexican chorizo sliders with guajillo pepper aioli and fresh salsa.
